Monifieth Singers

The choir is mixed voice of some 50 strong which meets every Thursday night in the Gerard Hall, Monifieth from 7.15 pm to 9.15 pm, between Mid-August till mid April.

Our repertoire tends to be light and varied and is intend to appeal to a wide range of the members and our audiences. We do however include some longer works, and this past two or three years have performed Fauré’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria and Stainer’s Crucifixion.

We perform two main concerts each year under the direction of Misia Boron, a Carol Concert in December, and a Spring Concert in April, and also enjoy entertaining throughout the session at various events throughout Dundee and Angus.

We are always keen to welcome new members, particularly from altos, tenors and bass.
